The Missouri Department of Agriculture (MDA) is currently accepting grant proposals for its 2022 Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP). Specialty crops include fruits, nuts, vegetables, horticulture, and nursery crops (including floriculture). The deadline for submitting proposals to MDA is 3:00 pm, Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

Private and non-profit organizations, commodity organizations and other public entities may request funds for projects up to $50,000. Projects will be completed within one to two years from the date of award. Formal proposals that enhance the competitiveness of Missouri specialty crops will be reviewed, scored and ranked using select criteria.
